Qualifications:
- British Association of Psychotherapists (BAP) Certificate in Supervision (2009)
- Graduate of the Guild of Psychotherapists Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (2005)
- WPF Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling (1997)
Experience:
Following 5 years as a counsellor in the voluntary sector, I set up my private practice in 2002. I also worked continually in the NHS from 2003 until 2021 (when I moved from Tunbridge Wells to Sheffield). Initially this was providing counselling in GP surgeries, both locally and in London. From 2007 to 2021 I worked in the Kent & Medway NHS Psychological Therapies Service as a psychotherapist - this involved providing supervision and training, as well as individual and group psychotherapy.
